Mean Green Tennis Falls At Florida Atlantic

BOCA RATON, Fla. (3/13/06) The North Texas women’s tennis team (4-11) continued its three-day swing through Florida on Monday, dropping a 5-2 decision to future Sun Belt foe Florida Atlantic.
NT’s Sammie Moreton and Megan Schmulbach teamed up to capture the Mean Green’s only doubles victory, winning the No. 1 flight by an 8-5 score.
FAU tacked on its final four points by winning the No. 1 through No. 4 singles matches. NT’s Aziza Aba Butain won flight five and Sara Giles won flight six to lead the Mean Green.
