Swimming In Fourth In Day One Of SBC Champs

Senior Gwen Rourke broke the school record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.60 during the preliminary round. She posted the fourth-fastest time in school history during finals when she swam a time of 2:09.36.
Freshman Alicia Hale set the second-fastest time in school history in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.84. Hale also set the third-best time in school history in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:02.65. She now holds three individual school records and 11 separate top-five times in school history.
Freshman Nicole Leslie broke the school record in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.86 during the preliminary round.
