Mean Green Swimming Receives Academic Honor

Denton (03/07/07) For the fourth consecutive semester, the North Texas swimming and diving team has been selected as a top academic team in NCAA Division I, ranking 37th in the nation by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
The CSCAA recognizes the top NCAA Division-I women’s programs with the highest team grade point averages from the previous semester. The Mean Green was selected to the honor after boasting a team GPA of 3.25.
The Mean Green was one of only two Sun Belt Conference teams to make the list and is joined by metroplex rival SMU who is ranked 51st with a GPA of 3.21. The
