Mean Green Has Singles Win in Loss

“The girls played inspired tennis,” said assistant coach Jeff Maren. “They played really well even in defeat. Their competitiveness was at an all time high. We are very proud of her and of all of the girls for their efforts today.
It only took two sets for Junior Idalina Franca to defeat Laetitia Bourgeon in a 6-1, 6-3 battle.
“Idalina Franca highlighted the day with a strong showing in singles play defeating a physically stronger opponent,” said Maren. “She outwitted her and played the type of tennis we’re looking for which is tennis based on controlled aggression and smart.”
The Mean Green is back in action tomorrow, March 11 at 11:30 am against
