North Texas Tennis Defeats NCTC

“I am very happy for the ladies in our team,” said head coach Sujay Lama. “All season long, they have battled and persevered through adversity. Today, they fought hard and it was a total team effort. It's great to see them smile and enjoy the victory.”
Senior Schmulbach defeated Manuella Viana in a two set match in No. 2 singles with a score of 6-4, 6-2.
Aziza Aba Butain won in No. 3 singles with a score of 6-0, 6-14 against Perez.
Newcomers Mary Poe and Emi Itabashi won in No. 3 and No. 4 singles against Erica Blakley and Alex Buckingham.
The team has another home match at Waranch Tennis Complex next Wednesday, April 11 against SMU at 2:00 p.m.
