Soccer Back At Home To Begin Sun Belt Play

DENTON, Tex. (9/28/07) The North Texas soccer team is back at home this weekend as they begin Sun Belt Conference play against Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana-Lafayette. The Mean Green stumbled for the first time this season last week in the Sooner Invitational and looks to rebound at home where they are a perfect 4-0 on the year.

The Mean Green begins Sun Belt Conference play this week and in conference opening games since joining the league is a perfect 7-0. As a matter of fact the Mean Green has started SBC play at 2-0 every year since becoming a member in 2000.
The Mean Green’s seven year record in Sun Belt Conference play is quite dominant at 47-9-3.
The match on Sunday was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. but has been moved up an hour and will start at 12 p.m. from the North Texas Soccer Field.
