North Texas Recruiting Class Named Best In The SBC

“I’m very excited about the 2008 recruiting class. I feel we recruited some of the top players out of the state of
Incoming recruit Kara Brooks picked another accolade as she was named the
Brooks had 33 goals and 14 assists for L.D. Bell and was named the District 7-5A Player of the Year for the second straight season. In her four years at L.D. Bell she scored 89 goals.
North Texas returns 14 letterwinners from last year's team that won 15 games, including reining Sun Belt Freshman of the Year in Janaye Woods.
The Mean Green is the host of the 2008 Sun Belt Conference Tournament this season for the first time in school history.
