8/14/2009 12:00:00 AM | Women's Soccer
The Mean Green welcomes 10 newcomers after losing seven players to graduation. Last season North Texas went 15-4-1 but lost in the semi-finals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament to Western Kentucky.
Although players didn't report to camp until earlier this week, North Texas soccer head coach John Hedlund is anxious to see how some of the new faces will perform.
"We're excited about this year," North Texas head coach John Hedlund said. "We've added so many new faces but we have a young group of talented players coming in to join an already strong veteran core. Things are looking pretty good."
The last time the two teams met dates back to 1996 when the Horned Frogs came to North Texas and won 3-2 in overtime.
Admission for tomorrow's game is $5 dollars for adults and $2 for children. As always students are admitted free with their North Texas ID.
