9:25 p.m. - Championship Press Conference:
8:41 p.m. - We're going dancing! Josh White hit the game-wnning shot with under a minute to go to give North Texas their third championship in school history. We'll have plenty, plenty more.
6:59 p.m. - Bout to start the 2nd half and the Mean Green trail 40-38 in an offensive affair thus far. North Texas shooting 45 percent while Troy is at 55. Odufuwa leads all scorers with 11 points.
6:55 p.m. - Before the game, George Dunham and Brad Sham had a friendly chat about Mr. Sham's comments last night:
6:20 p.m. - The pace is picking up and North Texas leads 21-19 with 11:35 left in the 1st half. Finally a good start offensively.
5:33 p.m. - We're 25 minutes from tipoff and both teams are on the court warming up. The North Texas fans are growing in numbers as we get closer to gametime. Troy on the other hand has literally about 15 fans here.
4:53 p.m. - The Mean Green have walked onto the court for shootaround and the Black Tuxedos are out! North Texas will be wearing the black jerseys tonight and this season have a 5-1 record when donning the black and green.
4:20 p.m. - Sorry it's been a while since we last spoke to you. We are guilty of watching one heck of a women's title game between Middle Tennessee and UALR in which the Blue Raiders won in overtime. Alysha Clark was sensational once again scoring 48 points, breaking her own tournament record for the third time this week.
We've got a little less than two hours before tipoff of our title game and everybody is ready to roll. We've already seen one confetti celebration, hopefully the next one will have a Mean Green feel to it.
11:02 a.m. - Shootaround just ended. I was hoping to get some video of Coach Jones talking with Ron Franklin, but either the audio system was being tested or the Summit Arena was recreating the famous T-Rex/rippling water scene from "Jurassic Park." Either way, the audio wasn't good, so no video, sorry. Anyway, the team looks relaxed and ready to play. The court is now being set up for the women's championship game at 1 p.m.
10:14 a.m. - It's championship day, Mean Green fans! We're courtside at the arena right now. Ron Franklin will be calling the game on ESPN2 tonight at 6 p.m. He just sat down next to us to take in the Mean Green shootaround. We're going to try our best to get a quick interview with him after practice to get his first impression of the team. Yesterday was a slow day...today surely will not be slow. Check back often for more updates.

- Mean Green Send-Offs, TBA, Austin Hotel: Join North Texas Spirit Groups approx 1 1/2 hours prior to tip-offs and rally the Mean Green as the men's team departs from the Austin Hotel, and as the women's team arrives at the Summit Arena.
- Hot Hoops in Hot Springs Headquarters, TBA, Lucky's Bar & Grill, 711 Central Ave., Hot Springs: Mean Green Nation and pre & post-game gatherings at Lucky's Bar & Grill with specials including Mean Green Margaritas and Green Pride Beer.
