Join Mean Green Tennis At Selection Show On Tuesday

DENTON, Texas (5/3/10) - Join the players and head coach Sujay Lama as the Mean Green learns who the team will play in the first round of the NCAA Division I Tennis Tournament. The 60th-ranked Mean Green tennis team is hosting an NCAA Selection Show Watch Party on Tues., May 4 from 3:45 - 5 p.m. at the North Texas Athletics Center.
North Texas (17-6) won the Sun Belt Championship in dramatic fashion over No. 49 Florida International Sunday, April 25. Senior Catalina Cruz clinched the programs first championship in a third set tiebreaker over FIU's Maria Vallsciani 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (7-5).
This will be the Mean Green's first appearance in the NCAA Tennis Tournament in school history.
