Tramiel Owns Boards In Mavs Summer League
7/12/2010 12:00:00 AM | Men's Basketball
LAS VEGAS - The reigning Sun Belt Tournament MVP, Eric Tramiel, got his first chance to show the NBA what made him a standout at North Texas. The former Mean Green forward saw his first action for the Dallas Mavericks on Friday in an 88-70 NBA Summer League loss to Denver.
Tramiel didn't get many looks at the basket (0-1 from the floor), but was impressive on the glass. The two-time All-Sun Belt selection hauled in five rebounds, including three on the offensive boards, and added a steal in almost 12 minutes of action.
He didn't see the floor in Dallas' 87-78 loss to Houston on July 11, but has another opportunity for playing time on Monday when the Mavs take on the Milwaukee Bucks at 7 p.m. All NBA Summer League games can be seen on NBATV, and all Mavericks games are shown locally on TXA21.
