Rossum, Johnson Receive SBC S&D Honors

Catherine Johnson met the NCAA Zone Meet diving score, becoming the first North Texas diver in school history to qualify for the NCAA Zone Meet in back-to-back years. Johnson won the one-meter diving with a score of 270.37, which is the third-best score in school history. Johnson was one of three divers to qualify for NCAA Zones last season, the first time North Texas had anyone qualify for Zones since 2003. Johnson also placed third in the 3-meter diving with a score of 261.75.
Krista Rossum set the school record in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:18.36, breaking the school mark of 2:19.48, set by Hannele Luoma in 2009-10. Rossum also was victorious in the 200 IM (2:06.33) and finished second in the 100 Breastroke with a time of 1:04.31.
The Mean Green take on SMU and Wyoming on November 4th at the Perkins Natatorium in Dallas.
