No. 70 Mean Green Take On No. 64 Texas Tech

DENTON, Texas - No. 70 North Texas tennis heads to Lubbock, Texas, to take on the No. 64 Texas Tech Red Raiders at the McLeod Tennis Center Saturday at noon.
The Mean Green is coming off back-to-back 5-2 losses against Wichita State and No. 52 Kansas State where two of the top four players were sidelined with illness.
Junior transfer Nadia Lee, one of the two who was forced to sit out last week, is expected to be back in the line-up for North Texas as it looks to grab its second win over a ranked Big 12 Conference opponent this season after defeating Oklahoma State 4-3 on Jan. 23.
The Mean Green are currently led by senior Amy Joubert, who is 3-2 on the season after taking down Kansas State's Ana Gomez Aleman in straight sets from the No. 4 singles slot.
The last meeting between North Texas and the Red Raiders was Feb. 6, 2010 as the Mean Green took down then No. 73 Texas Tech 5-2 at the Waranch Tennis Complex in Denton.
