Cazaubon Fires A 68 In Final Round

LAREDO, Texas - Rodolfo Cazaubon had the best round of the tournament for the North Texas men's golf team with a 4-under par 68 in the final round of the Border Olympics. Cazaubon climbed into the top 15 of the tournament to finish at 4-under par 212 in a tie for 15th place.
As a team the Mean Green fell to eighth place with a final round of 2-under par 286 as they finished at 7-under par as a team for the tournament.
No. 18 Arkansas took the overall team title with a score of 32-under par to defeat Oklahoma by five strokes.
Cazaubon's 68 was a rollercoaster of a round as he had six birdies and two eagles. He also posted two bogeys and two double bogeys.
Carlos Ortiz and Ty Spinella both had even-par rounds of 72 in the final 18 holes. Ortiz finished tied for 21st while Spinella closed in a tie for 38th. Josh Jones had a third round of 74 and Curtis Donahoe a final round of 75.
North Texas has one final regular season spring tournament on April 16-17 at the Hawkeye TaylorMade/Adidas Invitational.
