No. 41- Erric Pegram
Erric Pegram was a three-year letterman for North Texas, who finished his career with 1,613 yards for the Mean Green, but then had a seven year NFL career, starting with Atlanta where he wore the No. 41 shirt.
Pegram led North Texas in rushing in 1989 and 1990, rushing for 513 yards in 1989 and 957 yards in 1990. Pegram was named All-Southland Conference in 1989.
In the NFL, Pegram rushed for 3,398 yards, and 13 touchdowns for Atlanta, Pittsburgh, San Diego and the New York Giants. Pegram played for Pittsburgh's 1995 AFC Championship team, and started for the Steelers against the Cowboys in Super Bowl XXX.
