North Texas Remains In 12th After 2nd Round

BURLINGTON, Iowa - It was another struggle for the North Texas men's golf team at the second round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge as they fired a 17-over par 305 and remain in 12th place after two rounds. The Mean Green was unable to move up the leaderboard and sit with a score of 602 after the first 36 holes.
Carlos Ortiz had the best round of the day for North Texas with a 2-over par 74. Ortiz is tied for 41st place overall with a score of 150. Rodolfo Cazaubon has the best score for the Mean Green at 149 and he is tied for 33rd place.
He was even-par for the day but three straight bogeys to end the round cost him and he finished the day at 3-over par 75.
Josh Jones shot a second round of 77 and is one stroke behind Ortiz with a 151 while and freshman Juan Munoz shot a 7-over par 79 on the day. Curtis Donahoe had the toughest afternoon with a 13-over par 85.
