North Texas Host Last Sun Belt Matches

North Texas (12-5, 4-0) climbed back into the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s rankings that were released Tuesday, April 9, at No. 74.
The Mean Green is fresh off a sweep of the No. 1 NJCAA Tyler Junior College last Thursday at the Waranch Tennis Complex.
Troy improved to 16-4 (4-0) on Tuesday afternoon with a 7-0 win over Alabama State. The Trojans now own the third-longest winning streak in the nation with 12 matches in a row.
Middle Tennessee (10-9, 3-1) moved above .500 on Wednesday afternoon defeating Samford, 4-3, on senior day in Murfreesboro, Tenn. North Texas looks to improve to 8-4 in the series before both teams move to Conference USA.
North Texas will take on Troy on Friday, April 12, at 3 p.m. and Middle Tennessee on Sunday, April 14, at 11 a.m. at the Waranch Tennis Complex. Sunday’s match will be senior day for Ilona Serchenko, Valentina Starkova and Barbora Vykydalova.
