Q: How does Denton differ from your hometown?
A: There are no mountains, but really Denton is so unique. It's such a great college town with an amazing variety of people. There is just something special about Denton that you really have to experience.
Q: Who or what got you into the sport?
A: My parents wanted me to know how to swim when I was young because they loved to go to the lake; I guess I just never quit.
Q: What is your favorite event to compete in?
A: 200 Medley Relay or any relay.
Q: What event do you hope to never compete in?
A: 200 fly….I think I would almost rather swim the mile, but I don't think anyone else would want to watch, haha.
Q: What are you looking forward to most about the upcoming season?
A: I want to see the team rally together. We had a tough summer and I would love to see my teammates come together and compete for each other. I want to win with this team.
Q: What is your favorite sport to watch during the Olympics?
A: I don't know if I have a favorite sport. I love hearing all the stories about the athletes. I like to know where they came from and what it took for them to get to the Olympic level; the human side of sport. If I had to choose though it would be swimming (of course), beach volleyball, and diving.
Q: Who is your team family?
A: The dysfunctionals (it's fitting).
Q: Do you have a hidden (or not so hidden) talent?
A: Yes! I can put my hair into a bun while wake surfing.
Q: If you could trade places with one person, who would it be and why?
A: I wouldn't want to trade places with anyone because I believe that this is the life the God has planned for me and I do my best to live for Him.
