Mean Green Soccer Earns Seven Top-25 Votes

DENTON -- After tying Indiana on Sunday, the Mean Green soccer team received seven national ranking votes.
North Texas (4-2-1) has moved ahead of schools such as SMU in the rankings. The Mustangs were ranked No. 23 in the country the week prior.
Last season, North Texas received votes for a national ranking six times.
The Mean Green are currently ranked No. 8 in their respected region, which is where they ended ranked last season.
North Texas will have an opportunity to continue to climb in the rankings as they begin conference play next week as they head to Marshall on Sept. 21.
