Mean Green Soccer Joins The Fight

DENTON — Led and organized by its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Mean Green soccer team is joining the fight against sexual and domestic violence by hosting Denton Friends of the Family night on Friday at their home match versus Florida Atlantic at 7 p.m.
Fans who bring any of the listed items below will receive a five dollar voucher to the match against the Owls.
The North Texas soccer team this semester is working directly with the Denton Friends of the Family, which provides "compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention."
Along with other projects in connection with the Denton Friends of the Family, the team and its SAAC leaders will hand-deliver the items that are donated at Friday's home match to the Friends of the Family outreach office.
