Soccer Match Canceled

MURFREESBORO, Tennessee — Due to wet field conditions and rain, the Mean Green soccer team's Sunday afternoon match at Middle Tennessee has been canceled.
This is North Texas' (6-1-1, 1-0 C-USA) third match this month to be canceled due to weather.
UNT and the Blue Raiders (6-2-1, 1-0-1 C-USA) are neck-and-neck atop the Conference USA standings after Middle Tennessee had a huge overtime victory over preseason favorite Rice on Thursday.
Roughly 30 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. scheduled kickoff, game officials determined the field conditions were too dangerous and unplayable for the teams. A rescheduled match has not been determined at this point. Please stay tuned for possible updates to the team's schedule.
North Texas is schedule to host UT-San Antonio on Sept. 30 for its next match. It is scheduled to be the Mean Green's home conference opener.
