Bruffett, Guderian, James Named All-Academic

DALLAS — The North Texas Soccer team had three players named to a Conference USA All-Academic team on Monday as announced by the league office.
Mean Green seniors Madeline Guderian, Dominique James and junior Logan Bruffett who all boast 3.80 and better grade point averages earned the prestigious academic honors for UNT.
Of the 22 women named all-academic, Bruffett was just one of three to have an unblemished 4.00 G.P.A. The Mean Green captain who has started every match this season for her team and is third in goals will graduate early from North Texas and enter P.A. school. Bruffett was named to the 11-woman first-team all-academic honor. has been on the 4.0 Honor Roll each semester she has been enrolled at UNT. She's earned the UNT President's Award, been named to the UNT Dean's List and earned the UNT Golden Eagle Award, which is the highest student-leadership award.
For James, the 2018 All-American and 2019 Preseason MAC Herman Watch List Honoree, this was the third time she's been named all-academic and the second time she's been named first team. The defending C-USA Player of the Year owns a 3.843 GPA in Logistics Supply Chain Management. She has already accepted a position with BNSF Railway,
This is Guderian's first all-academic honor. The senior who will graduate in May of 2020 hopes to use her Human Development and Family Science degree to be relevant in the lives of special needs children and help them attain their daily life goals. Madeline has been a member of the 4.0 Honor Roll, three times and a member of the 3.5 Honor Roll twice. Guderian was named to the 2018 C-USA All-Tournament team.
