Mean Green Soccer Has three Named All-Region

DENTON — The 2019 Conference USA champion North Texas soccer team had three players named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Teams per voted on by NCAA women's soccer head coaches.
Senior and back-to-back C-USA Defensive Player of the Year Dominique James was named first team all-south region. It is the second year in a row the 2018 NCAA All-American has been named first team all-region.
Redshirt sophomore keeper Kelsey Brann was named second team all-region. Brann was named the 2019 C-USA Goalkeeper of the Year. She's a two-time all-conference honoree. This is her first all-region honor.
Junior Berklee Peters, who scored a team-high 14 goals this year, was also named all-region. Peters, a two-time all-conference selection, was named to the All-South Region thirc team. It is her first all-region honor.
Eight C-USA schools had players named to the all-region honor with 20 total individuals earning selections. This is the sixth year in a row UNT has had at least one individual named all-region.
