Men's Golf Tourney Shortened By Weather

HUMBLE, Texas - The UNT men's golf team competed in The All-American Intercollegiate on Sunday and Monday at the Golf Club of Houston, with a third and final round scheduled for Tuesday, but that round was canceled due to heavy rains Monday night and storms in the forecast all day Tuesday.
The second round counted as the final one, and the Mean Green finished ninth in the field at 21-over par, led by sophomore Viktor Forslund, who tied for 22nd at 3-over. Redshirt sophomore Kristof Ulenaers finished tied for 31st at 4-over. It was the first tournament of the spring season for the Mean Green.
UNT will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday in the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, Louisiana.
