Swimming & Diving Announces 2019-20 Schedule

DENTON – Four home events highlight the 2019-20 North Texas swimming and diving schedule, head coach Brittany Roth announced Tuesday.

The season opens at home with a two-day dual on September 27-28 against Arkansas Little Rock. The Mean Green will look to repeat as winners as they defeated the Trojans a year ago.

North Texas will host its annual Green-White alumni meet on October 12 before traveling to Dallas to take on SMU and LSU on November 2.

To close out November, the swimmers and divers will split for two meets on November 22-24. The swimmers will head to the Kansas Classic in Lawrence, Kansas while the divers travel to Houston for the Phill Hansel Invitational.

December's lone event is a dual meet against TCU in Denton on December 6. North Texas will look to build upon last season when it knocked off the Frogs twice.

The Mean Green will open 2020 against Rice on January 10 before the final home event of the season, a dual against Incarnate Word on January 17. North Texas will face road tests against Iowa State and the pre-conference time trials hosted by SMU.

The 2020 Conference USA Championships will be held February 26-29 in Atlanta, Ga.
