HOUSTON – North Texas dropped it's only Conference dual of the season on Friday, falling to Rice 152-58.

The Mean Green (2-2, 0-1 in Conference USA) were in the pool competing for the first time in over a month and despite the loss, head coach Brittany Roth was optimistic about the team's performance in Houston.
Â
"Rice is a great team that is full of depth and we had an opportunity for some strong racing today" Roth said. "I was pleased with our efforts today especially as our freshmen get stronger and continue to step up."
