Mean Green To Race At OSU

DENTON – North Texas will run at the Cowboy Jamboree hosted by Oklahoma State Saturday on the OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The men's 8K will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by the women's 6K at 9:15. The event is free to spectators, and everyone, excluding the participants, will be required to wear a mask at all times while at the facility.
Teams competing alongside UNT and OSU include Iowa State, Oklahoma, Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Texas Tech and Texas State.
"The team has recovered well coming off of the UTA Invite, but this will be a very tough test," head coach Kevin Williams said. "Most of the Big XII will be here including a couple of top-25 ranked teams for both genders (Iowa State and OSU). We are excited that Alec Esposito will be making his return after redshirting last year."
The Mean Green opened the season with team wins on both the men's and women's side last week at the UTA Invite. Caleb Bouchard and Erika Barrett each earned individual titles.
