UNT And UTA To Resume Play At UTRGV Saturday

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas – The women's basketball contest between North Texas and UT Arlington will resume Saturday at 3 p.m. in Edinburg at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
The game was the first of four originally scheduled within the South Padre Island Classic hosted by UTRGV and tipped at 4 p.m. Friday inside the South Padre Island Convention Center. Due to unsafe court conditions, the game was mutually postponed prior to the start of the second quarter with the Mean Green leading, 18-13. The contest will pick up Saturday in Edinburg at the point of interruption.
UTRGV and Prairie View A&M will play Saturday at noon before the Mean Green and Lady Mavs. The game between UNT and PVAMU is canceled.
