Swim and Dive Earns Scholar All America Status

COLORADO SPRINGS – Once again, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association has named North Texas a Scholar All America team. The Mean Green earned the honor for the 2019 fall semester.

North Texas is one of 470 women's programs to earn the status and joins the other five Conference USA women's swimming and diving programs on the list. The 470 programs makes up 60 percent of the 762 total teams.

"The CSCAA Scholar All-America list is a great marker for academic success," said the CSCAA Board of Directors. "It provides a benchmark for teams to strive for."

The Mean Green placed 20 student athletes on the 2019 Conference USA Commissioner's Honor roll and had five team members earn the Commissioner's Academic medal. North Texas was earned the status for spring 2019 to mark the 15 consecutive year the Mean Green earned the honor in the spring.
North Texas will take this status into the 2020 Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championships in Atlanta. Competition begins on Wednesday, February 26 and runs through Saturday, February 29.
