Five Swimmers Set for CSCAA National Invite

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Five North Texas swimmers are in Cleveland, Ohio for the 2020 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America National Invitational Championship. These student-athletes will compete in 11 individual events as well as five relays over a three-day event.

Junior Alvena Walpole will compete in three individual events while junior Leigh Faires McGee and sophomores Brooke Beddingfield and Karigan Stanley as well as freshman London Farris will each take the pool in two individual races.

Walpole will race in the 200 IM, 200 Free and 200 Fly; McGee will race in the 100 and 200 Free; Beddingfield will be in the 50 and 200 Breast; Stanley will participate in the 200 Fly and 400 IM and Farris will race in the 200 and 500 Free.

Prelims got underway on Thursday morning with the first set of Finals coming on Thursday night, each day will have a prelim session in the morning followed by finals in the evening. All events will be live streamed for fans to watch as well as a live stat link being available throughout the entire week.
