MGSD Earns Scholar All-America Distinction

COLORADO SPRINGS – North Texas Swimming and Diving has been honored as a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) for the spring 2020 semester. The Mean Green garnered the honor for the 16 consecutive year after posting a team GPA of 3.679.

"I'm really proud of our team's continued hard work and dedication in the classroom," head coach Brittany Roth said. "The adversity of the COVID-19 pandemic has presented everyone at this time could have deterred our student-athletes from their academic goals, but our team proved their perseverance and resilience throughout."

North Texas had 23 of their 27 team members make the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for the spring semester with a 3.0 GPA or higher, while four team members earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal for a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The Mean Green also boasted nine student-athletes who has a perfect 4.0 GPA for the spring semester.
