Mean Green Open Indoor At K-State

MANHATTAN, Kan. – North Texas track and field begins the 2021 indoor season Saturday at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Kansas State inside Ahearn Field House.
Field events begin at 9 a.m. followed by track events at 1:30. UNT will compete against Kansas State, Langston, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Iowa State.
"Kansas State indoor meet provides a great opportunity to give our 'competition' legs a try," director of track and field Carl Sheffield said. "It's been so long since we actually raced someone. It's important that we get races to prepare for the conference meet next month. Our departments and staffs have worked to provide our student-athletes with the resources and facilities to practice and improve their skills in our sport. Kansas State is a good place for us to shake the rust off".
Under COVID-19 guidelines, no fans or spectators will be allowed inside Ahearn Field House this weekend. Live results will be available here.
