Mean Green Prepare With TCU Invite

FORT WORTH — The North Texas tennis team will compete in the TCU Invite this weekend a week before the spring dual match season begins.
In the four-day tournament, the Mean Green will face off against the Horned Frogs, Central Arkansas and Texas A&M at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

"Our biggest goal this year is to stay healthy and have gratitude that we still can compete and do what we love, which is to play tennis at a high level and continue to seek improvement," said head coach Sujay Lama. "This tournament serves that purpose and we are very excited to test ourselves."
This tournament will be an indoor tournament due to the weather.
This is an individual tournament, similar to a fall tournament. Three singles champions will be crowned and three doubles champions as well, based on win/loss record, combined with a committee vote.
