Daciana Colon joins team from Colorado

DENTON, Texas — North Texas Swim and Dive and head coach Brittany Roth announced the signing of Daciana Colon Monday.

Colon, a swimmer from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, swam for Valor Christian High School and the Denver Swim Academy. She said the Mean Green will be a perfect fit for her collegiate career.

"I chose the University of North Texas because of the girls and the coaches," Colon said via Swimcloud. "The team is very welcoming and all have a true passion for swimming. When I was visiting UNT, I could see myself being happy and successful, not only with the team but also on campus and at the school."
