DENTON — Less than 16 hours after their game on Friday wrapped up, the Mean Green men's basketball team will battle again with Louisiana Tech at 1 p.m. CT from the Super Pit on Saturday.
The game will be streamed on Stadium and the Mean Green Sports Network Learfield IMG College.
The Bulldogs (15-5, 8-3) got the better of UNT (9-6, 5-2) on Friday with a 68-63 win in Denton. It is just the second time North Texas has lost at home in its last 20 games at the Super Pit. There were 14 lead changes in Friday's game and neither team ever led by double digits. UNT's Thomas Bell led the way for his Mean Green side with 17 points but faced foul trouble in the second half, which forced him to sit for nearly 10 straight minutes of action. Louisiana Tech's sophomore Isaiah Crawford went crazy in the second half scoring 18 of his career-high 27 after halftime. Crawford made his last seven field goal attempts in the game to lead his Bulldogs to victory.
North Texas hasn't lost consecutive home games since the 2018-19 season.
