HAMLET vs. CURRY
Javion Hamlet and Old Dominion's Malik Curry had played each other prior to playing at their current respective schools. On Nov. 9, 2018, Hamlet was the starting point guard for Northwest Florida St College and Curry was the starting point guard for Palm Beach St. College. Hamlet and his Raiders got the better of Curry and PBSC with a 102-84 victory. However Curry scored 29 points (11-22 FGs). Hamlet didn't too bad either as he scored 26 points (9-13 FGs). However when the two met last year in Denton, Hamlet said after the game that he used the previous meeting as motivation to guard his opponent better. In the rematch last season, Hamlet scored 27 points while also holding Curry to just 9 points.
