DENTON — The North Texas men's basketball team will conclude the regular season on Saturday with a 4 p.m. scheduled tip-off versus UAB at the Super Pit with a first round league tournament bye on the line.
UNT (13-8, 9-4) and the Blazers (20-6, 12-5) will be broadcasted on ESPN+ and on the Mean Green Sports Network. The winner of Saturday's bout will finish second in the Conference USA West Division standings and earn a first round bye at next week's Air Force Reserve Conference USA Men's Basketball Championships presented by Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center Frisco.
The Mean Green will also honor their six seniors Saturday. Thomas Bell, Javion Hamlet, JJ Murray, James Reese, Jahmiah Simmons and Zachary Simmons combined have played in 364 games for North Texas.
