Mean Green Continue At C-USA Championship

LYNCHBURG, Va. - The UNT swim and dive team continued competition at the C-USA Swimming and Diving Championship on Friday night at the Liberty Natatorium.
The Mean Green currently sit in fifth in the team standings with 372 points but are just 17 points back of third-place Marshall with one day of competition remaining.
The 400 medley relay team of Izabela Zekuciova, Brooke Beddingfield, Shaena McCloud and London Farris finished fifth in 3:46.77 to nab 32 points for the Mean Green. McCloud (100 butterfly) and Hallie Kolb (100 breaststroke) each finished seventh in their respective championship finals to claim 14 points apiece.
In the 1-meter springboard final, Altaira Wallquist finished fifth with 273.90 points, and Olivia Dollar (245.20) took seventh.
The event will conclude Saturday evening with five individual swimming finals, the platform diving final and the 400 freestyle relay to close the championship.
