DENTON, Texas – Mean Green softball bounced back Saturday afternoon at Lovelace Stadium with a 6-3 win over Florida Atlantic to even the series at one game each. After being limited to two hits and no runs on Friday, the North Texas offense responded with seven hits and six runs on Saturday.
QUOTING HEAD COACH RODNEY DELONG
"We got off to a good start offensively, which really helped us. It was a grind. Florida Atlantic is a good team, and they keep putting pressure on our pitchers, so we expect a lot of the same tomorrow. It's going to be a grind "
