Adams earns C-USA Tennis Athlete of the Week

DENTON – UNT freshman Jasmine Adams has been named Conference USA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
Adams rounded out Saturday's match against VCU with a win. She fell in set one 4-6 but quickly bounced back with a 6-3 forcing a third set. Set three was a resounding 6-4 victory.
The freshman from Australia has won 8-4 in singles matches and 8-6 in doubles matches this season.
This is Mean Green Tennis' second such honor this season, senior Lucie Devier was honored the week of March 16th. The Mean Green will head to New Orleans to face Tulane on Saturday and UNO on Sunday.
