Mean Green Heading to Puerto Rico

DENTON, Texas – North Texas women's basketball program will venture to Puerto Rico this summer as part of a five-day foreign tour that will include two exhibition games. Jalie Mitchell and her team will make the trip from June 23-June 28.
The exhibition tour will provide North Texas with an early opportunity for its new-look roster to mesh on and off the court. The NCAA allows programs to take such trips once every four years.
There will be no live streaming of games but make sure to follow the program on social media for all the sights and sounds of the tropical excursion.

"It's an excellent opportunity for our group to get out and explore. Aside from basketball, this is an educational experience for our players. I think anytime you can expose people to different cultures only good can come of it. I am grateful to North Texas for the support of our foreign trip this year."
