Three Earn CSC Soccer Academic All-District Honors

DENTON - Three UNT soccer players were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honor this week.
Mean Green seniors Devyn Flannery, Rachel Roebuck and Jenna Sheely were all named to the honor. All three have a 3.87 or higher Grade Point Average and were starters on the North Texas team this season. Sheely led the Mean Green in goals with eight and led the team with 18 points as she also had two assists. Flannery and Roebuck combined for six goals. Roebuck, a defensive midfielder, led UNT in assists with four.Â
Flannery played her fourth season with North Texas this past fall. She's played in 59 career matches and started 33. She has 12 career goals and eight career assists. She will graduate this year will a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Event Management.Â
Roebuck came to UNT in 2022 and has been a consistent figure on the defensive end of the field. Roebuck has played in 34 career matches and started 32 of them. She has two career goals and five career assists. She will earn her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice.Â
Sheely joined North Texas in 2021 and played in 52 career matches and made 26 starts. She has scored 13 career goals and assisted on five goals. She will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health.Â
UNT completed its 29th season this fall and still have never had a losing season.Â
