Swim & Dive Hosting New Mexico State

DENTON - The UNT swimming and diving team will host its first home meet of the year on Saturday, as New Mexico State comes to Denton after the Mean Green traveled to Las Cruces last year.
Diving will begin at 11:30 a.m., at the PEB Natatorium, with the swimming events set to begin at 12:15 p.m., at the Pohl Recreation Center.
The divers are coming off a strong showing at the Texas Diving Invite on Wednesday and Thursday, when several divers set new personal bests, and senior Brigid Krbec earned her 3-meter springboard NCAA Zone Cut. The swimmers will get back to competing against another school for the first time since Oct. 6, when they notched a close victory on the road over UIW.
"We're excited to be back in action as a team for our first home meet of the season," UNT head coach Brittany Roth said. "The team has been stepping up since our last outing at Incarnate Word and I'm looking forward to seeing our team take on a strong New Mexico State squad."
