
Softball Set for Road Series at WKU

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – UNT softball returns to Conference USA play on Friday at 6 p.m. against WKU for a three-game series at the WKU Softball Complex. Friday and Saturday's games will be streamed on HSSN while Sunday's meeting can be seen on Behind the Mic.
North Texas (19-10) owns a four-game winning streak in league contests after it swept UTSA at home on Sunday. The Mean Green lead C-USA despite its 2-0 loss to No. 2 Oklahoma State on Wednesday. WKU (17-9, 2-1 C-USA) collected a pair of conference victories at UTEP last weekend and sit fourth in the standings.
McKenzie Wagoner (1.26) and Ashley Peters (1.32) are ranked first and second, respectively, for lowest ERA in C-USA. The duo leads a Mean Green staff that is 33rd in the nation in ERA with a collective 2.07 mark.
Head coach Rodney DeLong enters the weekend with 148 career wins at North Texas, holding a .705 winning percentage during his tenure.
