Swim & Dive Lands 17 On American All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas - The UNT swimming and diving program had 17 members honored on the American Athletic Conference's All-Academic team, the league announced on Thursday.
To be eligible for the honor, a nominee must have attained a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 for the preceding academic year, and completed a minimum of two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters of academic work, with a total of 18 semester or 27 quarter credits, not including remedial courses.
The nominations are reviewed and approved by the American Athletic Conference Academic Affairs Committee.
The following team members earned the honor in the program's first year in the conference: Emily Ally, Olivia Dollar, Kennedy Eichler, Mackenzie Ferguson, Makaia Goemans, Saylor Hawkins, Kaylyn King, Diana Kolb, Brigid Krbec, Noelle Marsh, Shaena McCloud, Tram Nguyen, Samantha Robles, Iza Ruiz, Gabi Somoza, Kailey Turner and Paige Walsh.
