Men's Golf Adds Two In Fall Signing Period

DENTON - UNT men's golf coach Luke Calcatera announced two additions to his program on Tuesday, as the second-year head coach added two new faces for the 2025-26 season.
The Mean Green will add Indonesia's Rayhan Latief and Texas native Mitchell Maier after both signed their national letters of intent last week.
Latief's current World Amateur Golf Ranking is No. 196, and he has seven wins in WAGR events. He was a member of the 2024 Junior Presidents Cup and competed in the 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur. He had top-25 finishes in the Asia Pacific Amateur, SEA Amateur and in the IMG Junior World Championship.
Maier, who hails from Richmond, Texas, in the Houston area is a top-65 player in the Class of 2025. He won the LJT Texas Cup Invitational and finished second in the LJT George Hannon Invitational. He also finished fifth in the Byron Nelson Junior Championship. He's had four other top-10 showings in the last year on the junior circuit.
