Tennis Unveils 2025 Spring Schedule

Mean Green set to play coast-to-coast schedule
DENTON, Texas – The UNT tennis team and head coach Amanda Stone has announced its 2025 dual schedule, highlighted by coast-to-coast trips to both Florida and California as well as matchup with six American Athletic Conference opponents a pair of Big 12 foes.
The Mean Green are scheduled to play 21 regular season matches with eight coming at home, nine occurring on the road and four coming at neutral sites.
The schedule kicks off on January 17 with a matchup at the Waranch Tennis Complex for the home opener.
UNT will then be away from home for five consecutive matches as they travel to Houston, Iowa State, LA Tech and Northwestern State as well as a neutral site contest against Nebraska-Omaha.
North Texas then returns home for three straight contests, starting with a doubleheader on February 14 against Collin College and Oral Roberts followed by a February 18 matchup against UT Arlington.
After the UTA match, the Mean Green will hit the road for over a month with five straight matches coming away from Waranch.
UNT will travel to Miami, FL., to take on North Florida and FIU on February 22-23, face off against UTSA on the road on March 1 and then head to Northridge, CA., to take on Fresno State and CSUN on March 10 and 11, respectively.
Following the long road trip, North Texas will have its longest stretch of consecutive home matches as they turn their focus to AAC foes, taking on Tulsa (3/19), UAB (3/21), Tulane (3/23) before a Senior Day matchup against Tarleton State (3/29) all in Denton.
The schedule wraps with three straight contests on the road with UNT taking on Wichita State (4/4) and Creighton (4/5) on back-to-back days in Wichita, KS., before closing the regular season at Abilene Christian on April 11.
All regular season matches build toward the 2025 AAC Championship March 17-20 in Memphis, TN. In its first ever appearance in the AAC Championship in 2024, the Mean Green won its first-round matchup over East Carolina to advance to the quarterfinal.
Admission to all UNT tennis home matches is free and fans are encouraged to come and cheer for the Mean Green.
