
Mean Green Travel To Tulane Wednesday

The Mean Green (14-12, 7-7) and the Green Wave (13-13, 4-10) are scheduled to tip-off at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and the Mean Green Sports Network, presented by Learfield.
Wednesday will be the fourth all-time meeting between North Texas and Tulane but the first at the Green Wave's home gym, which was opened in 1933 and is the ninth oldest college basketball gym in the nation.
UNT beat the Green Wave 70-56 at the Super Pit on Jan. 6. Guard Jason Edwards had a breakout performance in the home victory as he scored a season-high 37 points and was 8-of-10 from 3 and made his first eight 3-point attempts.
North Texas outrebounded Tulane in the win by 23 and is still its biggest positive rebounding margin this season.
Ten of Tulane's 13 wins this season have come at its home gym and three of its four conference wins are at home too. At home they are outscoring opponents by an average margin of 10.4 points per game. Opposed to on the road where they are being outscored by an average of 5.5 points per game.
North Texas is reaching the home stretch of its regular season slate. After Wednesday, UNT has just three games remaining before the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championship in Fort Worth begins on March 13. Tickets to the conference championship can be purchased here.
After its trip to New Orleans, UNT hosts East Carolina Sunday at the Super Pit. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 2 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN+ and the Mean Green Sports Network, presented by Learfield.
