Softball Set for Midweek at UTA

ARLINGTON, Texas – UNT softball travels to UT Arlington for a Tuesday night midweek match up at Allan Saxe Field. The game will be streamed at 6 p.m. on WAC International.
The Mean Green (18-12, 8-1) are tied atop the American Athletic standings after collecting three consecutive walk-off wins at home over Tulsa. Skylar Savage won AAC Pitcher of the Week honors on Monday after she recorded wins in the final two games of the series.
The Mavericks (11-19, 2-3 WAC) dropped a conference series at Tarleton State in the rubber match on Sunday, 9-1 in five innings. UNT defeated UTA 5-3 in the first meeting of the season between the two programs at Lovelace Stadium on Feb. 28.
North Texas holds a 21-11 record over the Mavericks and have won six of the previous eight meetings between the two teams.
