Tennis Unveils 2024 Fall Tournament Schedule

UNT opens fall season with Diving Eagle Invite at Waranch
DENTON, Texas – The UNT tennis team and head coach Amanda Stone have revealed the 2024 Fall Tournament schedule.
The 2024 fall schedule will feature a total of seven individual play tournaments with the opportunity for more based on players advancing to other tournaments by virtue of grabbing individual titles.
The Mean Green open the season in Denton when they host the Diving Eagle Invite Sept. 20-22 at the Waranch Tennis Complex.
A pair of student-athletes will forgo playing in the Diving Eagle Invite and head to Cary, North Carolina, to compete in the ITA All-American Championships Sept. 21-29.
After that, UNT will send the whole team to the Hoosier Classic in Bloomington, Indiana, hosted by Indiana University from Oct. 4-6.
A staple of the fall schedule, North Texas will travel to the ITA Texas Regional hosted by TCU in Fort Worth, Texas, Oct. 10-14 with an opportunity to advance to the ITA Sectionals by winning the regional.
New in 2024, the Mean Green will send a number of athletes to the AAC Fall Championship Oct. 24-27 at Rice in Houston. The singles and doubles champions in those tournaments will move on the ITA Conference Masters Championships in San Diego, California.
Individuals not at the AAC event will travel to Norman, Oklahoma, for the W-35 Norman Tournament Oct. 28-Nov. 3.
The fall season wraps up with the Hurricane Invite at the University of Tulsa Nov. 1-3 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
All fall tournaments are held as individual events in both singles and doubles competitions before dual match play begins in January running throughout the spring. The spring dual schedule for the Mean Green will be revealed at a later date.
